My understanding is that Swine Flu is transmitted from hog poop to flies then spread to humans, then human to human, etc. Also, it is estimated that about 50% of pig farm workers are colonized with MRSA. Plenty of germs to go around. In the meantime, keep eating BBQ – vinegar based only, please – and wash your hands early and often. As for the other health concerns, c’mon, are sclerotic arteries really so terrible? It could be worse. And BBQ is kosher in my neck of the woods. In fact, I think we should ‘expand on tradition’ and have a pig pickin’ for Yom Kippur!
