I ate at the Blue Mist mid-afternoon, between regular lunch & dinner.
The BBQ was so greasy I couldn't finish even half of it. I will be very reluctant to stop again. A friend with long NC BBQ experience had forewarned me to avoid the place.

I've often passed Blue Mist, but have never stopped, my logic being that if one is half way to Lexington (from Raleigh) one should just continue on the rest of the way.

Interesting that Blue Mist serves up the 'cue in the Piedmont Style but feature a creamy slaw.
